The Department of Livestock Development (DLD) conducted the Training for DLD Auditors on Halal Livestock Products on 14–15 August 2025 at Al Meroz Hotel, Bangkok. The objectives of this training were to improve knowledge and understanding of halal principles and standards, particularly those related to halal certification regulations of the Central Islamic Council of Thailand (CICOT). DLD auditors who successfully complete this course are qualified to provide pre-audit services and to support entrepreneurs in developing their procedures to comply with both food safety and halal standards.
