About the AFSN

The August Fantasy Sports Network (AFSN) is just a fancy name for the fantasy sports leagues and pools I run.

It started in 1995 when a few friends and I joined an ESPN Fantasy Football league. We were in the league with several strangers and didn't have any money on-the-line. Now, each league is filled with family and friends. And there's always money on-the-line -- just enough to keep it interesting.

The AFSN has grown to include fantasy football leagues, a fantasy baseball league, and several pools.

Most of the leagues and pools are run through CBS SportsLine. I use this AFSN.net web site to publish historical data like results from previous years and the Money Lists.
