09/25/07 12:30 AM Dan Seeger is your champion! Congratulations, Dan, on your first championship and completing what is more than a rebuilding -- it's an awakening! Visit the GOBN @ AFSN.net for all of the final standings and winnings.Dan Seeger 2007 1st 2006 3rd 2005 3rd 2004 9th 2003 9th 2002 8th 2001 8th 2000 6th 1999 7th 1998 6th 09/10/07 8:30 PM The 2nd round playoff brackets are set. Stats and reports for weeks 22 and 23 are done too. My regular season strong suit -- pitching -- really let me down last week. That means Cychosz and Seeger are playing for the championship. This is Dan's first championship appearance. This is Brad's second. He's won both times. If he makes it three, the GOBN will officially change its focus from persecuting Team 51146 to persecuting Cychosz at every opportunity. Cychosz's banter would lead you to believe he is the only two-time winner. That's not true. Jack won in 1999 and 2005. Every round one matchup ended 6-4 or 5-5. All seeds held in the consolation bracket. Cychosz got 0% of the vote on the latest poll, yet here he is... again. 08/28/07 1:10 AM Tepp won Week 21 with 86 points. 08/21/07 11:35 PM Tepp won Week 20 with 83 points. Looking at the new Magic Number column in the Wild Card Standings report, as long as Seeger wins 1.5 points this week, the four playoff spots are set. Division championships are still up for grabs, though. 08/14/07 4:17 PM Statistics for weeks 18-19 are done. Click here for weekly winners. Click the links below for the other reports. I've added a Magic Number column to the Wild Card Standings report. The magic number is the number of games a team must win and/or the 5th place team must lose before the team mathematically clinches a playoff spot. 08/03/07 1:30 AM Statistics for weeks 13-17 are done. Click here for weekly winners. Click the links below for the other reports. I'm not ready to say the playoffs are set. There are still 4 weeks left... and my team name used to be the Augie Fade for crying out loud. Colin, Dan, and Drew are still in the race. P.S. My having 13 starts in week 16 did affect my matchup with Colin. Instead of 9-1, I won 8-2, losing WHIP after the adjustment was made. 06/29/07 12:35 PM That's right, people. Augie did statistics! Weeks 9-12 are done... finally. Click here for weekly winners. Click the links below for the other reports. Most striking thing that happened the past month? Colin Walsh! Week 11 winner with 90 points, and look at the Winning Percentage Chart. Out of nowhere Colin won 8-1-1 / 6-3-1 / 9-1-0 / 8-0-2 in weeks 9-12. That's 31-5-4! Before week 9, his only other win was week 3 versus Team 51146. He's gone from having the worst record in the league after week 8 (17.5 GB in his own division) to being a playoff team. Wow. Like Jimmy V. said, "Don't give up. Don't ever give up." 05/28/07 11:00 PM I won Week 7 with 78.5 points. Drew won Week 8 with 73.5 points. I've taken the lead in Traditional Scoring and Breakdown but am only tied for fourth in overall record. 05/15/07 1:00 AM I won Week 5 with 68.5 points. Team 51146 won Week 6 with 76.5 points. Dan leads in Traditional Scoring. He also has the best overall record. 05/01/07 2:45 AM Jack won Week 4 with 81 points. It's his second win and the most points scored so far this season. Team 51146 dominates the Worst Week side of the Best/Worst Week report. 04/16/07 11:51 PM Jack won Week 2 with 79 points. The Weekly Reports (below) have been updated. 04/11/07 10:54 PM I won Week 1 with 73 points. (The patented Augie Upswing/Fade quick start.) The Weekly Reports (below) have been updated. Thanks again for being flexible with this week's transactions deadline/processing. 03/29/07 8:06 PM Transactions Deadline Schedule
