HOG REPORT®

Hurry Widow click delete... here comes another weekly edition of the "totally useless" HOG REPORT®.

TOP HOG - as predicted in last weeks publication. the Commissioners 4 Explosives brought it and defeated Ben Stiller's Fockers.  Considering... the Fackers have the best Power Ranking 33.5 and Breakdown record 34-10, and have scored 347 points - - C4's impressive win over the Fackers, their rise from last (week 1) to first (week 4), and are 3rd in scoring - - Widowmakers breakdown (not break-dance, that'd be a sight) record of 31-13, and being tops in scoring with 375 points - - makes this a difficult decision.  I'd say it's time for a group HOG... the TOP HOGS by division are C4 Explosives-Doomsday, Puck Fackers-Division, and Widowmakers-TA&T.  Faithful readers to this publication need to know there are some SWINE snorting around, they are co-division leaders Bear Necessities and Blackcats, and division leader Rough Riders.  Pigdiction... each may be worthy of this prestigious award soon!

HOG of the week - checking the SFFL annals - it's a dirty job but someone had to do it - the Bear Necessities nearly set a one-week record score with its 140 point performance.  Close but no cigar.  Our trusty afsn.net web site shows David Taylor accomplished that feat last year defeating the Widow(breakdown)makers in week 7 by a score of 143-135.  Can the Widowmakers say déjà vu?  Our award this week goes to the Bear Necessities for out scoring the Widowmakers 140-110 (if they went head-to-head).  Go Bears!

PIG squeal - highest scoring team is Widowmakers with 375 points for.  Team with most points scored against is the Buffalo Soldiers with with 364 points against.  PIG poop - C Division record is 11-5, TA&T is 7-9, and Doomsday is 5-9-2.  PIG snort - nice to see the SFFL owners are still dealing. SFFL's fourth trade of the year occurred last night.  C4 sends back-up RB Mike Anderson and QB Marc Bulger to the Buffalo Soldiers in return for QB Dante Culpepper, no BS.

PIG Factoid - Pigs don't have sweat glands in their bodies, so they don't sweat. To avoid getting overheated, pigs wallow in mud. By covering their bodies with mud, pigs achieve two purposes. The first is to cool off, and the second is to keep mosquitoes or other insects from getting to their skin. Unfortunately, this natural behavior leads to the misconception that pigs are dirty. The truth is that pigs like to keep clean and tidy, if they are given the opportunity.

QB HOGS - 4 teams with 3 QB's;  Flea Flickers(Vick,Collins,Blake), Puck Fackers(Fiedler,McNabb,Warner) and Bear Necessities(Beuerlein,Brees,Favre), C4 Explosives(Culpepper,Frerotte,Green)
