Tournament Timeline

Day	Time (CT)	Event
Wednesday		You'll receive an email invitation to join the tournament.
Monday	1:59 AM	Deadline for joining the tournament on XSNsports.com.
Following Monday	1:59 AM	Deadline for completing all tournament rounds. If you have not completed all rounds, you forfeit those rounds only, not the entire tournament.

Tournament Name Format

AFSNYTXXX where Y = last digit of year, T = tour number, XXX = tournament abbreviation. Example: AFSN41AI is the 2004 Tour 1 Augustine Invitational.

Playing a Tournament

1. Follow the instructions in the email invitation from XSNsports.com
    
2. Follow these steps on your Xbox for each round of the tournament...

Follow the steps in green below only if you haven't already created the tournament...

 

New Tournament

Type the exact name of the tournament including capitalization and spaces (if any)

Done

Type the password

Done

You are back at the Select Tournament screen

 

Select the tournament

Type the round settings code (Xbox should automatically capitalize)

Done

You'll see a summary of the round settings

Press the A button to Accept

 

You are at the Xbox Live screen

Create Match

Press the A button to Start

Hole Time Limit

There is a time limit of 2 minutes per hole after which you are assessed a 1 stroke penalty. You are assessed another 1 stroke penalty every 13 seconds thereafter until you complete the hole.

If you are set up to watch hole previews (Start / Options / Game / Previews), they do not count against your 2 minutes. Your 2 minutes does not begin until you step up to the tee.

You can press Start to pause the round. You have a total of 5 minutes of pause time to use during the round. If your 5 minutes expire, you will be disconnected from Xbox Live and your round will be marked Incomplete. You will not be able to replay the round.

0:25	Clock appears and the countdown begins
0:20	Clock turns yellow
0:10	Clock turns red
0:00	You are assessed a 1 stroke penalty
-0:13	You are assessed another 1 stroke penalty
-0:26	You are assessed another 1 stroke penalty, etc.

XSNsports.com Update

The results of your completed round should appear on XSNsports.com within the hour. If the site is having trouble, it could take a couple of hours. If your round doesn't post by the next day, you are probably out of luck. You'll have to play the round again.
